After reading the the pathetic story of Samantha Brick on the daily mail tonight, and watching her being interviewed on this morning, I have come to the conclusion that this woman has no clue as to what 'beauty' is. if you don't know what I'm talking about, then let me break it down for you.Samantha brick is no one special, however she has created huge outrage over social networking and on the media on her opinion of herself 'Their are downsides to looking this pretty: why woman hate me for being beautiful' This outrage has hugely come from a number of woman.

Let me just say one thing, if you have seen this woman or are yet to , let me tell you that she is completely, and utterly average looking. And talking from a feminists point of view i would say that she has stabbed the back of most woman, what happened to sisterhood? so she apparently thinks she's the most beautiful woman in the world, and has apparently had men buying her bottles of champagne, flowers and even buying her train tickets? Im not being funny but if a man asked to pay for my train ticket I would have potential rapist on the cards. However this delusional woman seems to believe these gestures could only happen to her, and that she's the only woman who gets bought drinks at the bar, well news flash! woman all over the world get bought drinks every night, you aint' so special! But however rangy this post is, its honest, and I know many woman feel exactly the same, she doesn't deserve press coverage, or interviews, she just needs to be brought down a peg or two.

When we thought Rihanna’s outrageous outfits couldn’t get anymore…well… outrageous, we find a photo of her in a mesh see-through top, with no bra. Well you can imagine the level of disaster we’re on about, she could have at least taken the time to throw on some kind of cover-up, or if that’s not alternative enough maybe a re-designed bin bag would have done the trick.

But this is Rihanna, we have to accept the fact she’s fabulous, and wants to brave the streets looking like a local prostitute, but that’s fine because she has thousands of fans whom adore her, and think she would look smoking’ hot in a banana suit.

But what would happen if I were to walk out my house without a bra, I would get mauled, not by dogs, worse, by the public. I would not only be a laughing stock, I’d probably be locked away, and so why it is Rihanna gets away with murder?

I am not Hating on the girl, I honestly think most of the time she looks mind blowingly ( if that’s even a word)  stunning, as any normal person would, but sometimes we have to just have to come back down to reality, and realise that Chilly nipples are not a good look for any diva.

So just today, please Rihanna, put a shirt on!
Katie price has started work on her debut solo album.

The model and businesswoman revealed on Twitter that she is working with ‘Out Of Your Mind’ songwriter Dane Bowers and producer David Anthony.

Katie has previously dipped her feet in the music biz, releasing ‘free to love again’ back in 2010 which disastrously flopped and didn’t make the charts.  However not one to be dampened by the critics, Katie has said that she is a ‘music wannabe’ and that she doesn’t care if her music isn’t liked, she’s just having fun with it.

Katie released a cover version of Aladdin’s ‘I can show you the world’ with ex hubby Peter Andre in 2009, which probably because of professional singer Peter Andre, made it into the charts.

Well we can’t wait to see what bangers Katie has in store for us, but we won’t be holding high hopes for it to make number one just yet.

Just thought I’d update my blog as I haven’t been on here in a while, due to revising and writing essays for Uni. So I recently went to my boyfriends for a couple of days after Christmas, who currently lives in Uni halls in Leamington-spa. For those of you who don’t know where Leamington is, it’s situated in the west midlands, near Birmingham and Coventry, and in my opinion it is the equivalent of Chelsea in London. I didn’t even know a ‘Leamington-spa’ existed till I first visited, back in September, however I now go every weekend to see my boyfriend and I love it there, it’s so clean cut and modern, and I love the town houses which are gorgeous and all painted the same; white with the black spiked gates. It’s so ‘made in Chelsea’ I could just visualise Caggie and Milly strolling down the street on their way to some fancy bar. And Best of all, the charity shops in Leamington are on top form! I think I counted at least 6 when I last went, maybe more! Anyway I’m ever so slowly getting to my point of why I wrote on here, In my recent trip I had a stroll around the town and thought I’d check out ‘save the cats’ charity shop… probably not my most favourable charity to give too but hey ho, anyway I came across these beautiful suede and leather (real leather) brogues with a gold metal horse detail and fringing on the front. Now I’ve been wanting brogues for a long while, but never found any that I could justify buying as they all looked the same to me, however these beauties were too good to be true, and they looked expensive, very expensive. And guess what they were a size 5! Whoopee, however the price was another matter, I swear charity shops use to be cheap? I am mistaken, the price of the shoes were 20 quid. I couldn’t really justify buying shoes that were 20 quid, and which had been worn before, probably by some old wannabe fashionista. But I tried my luck for a sneaky haggle and eventually got them for a 10ner, which I didn’t feel so bad about. So these are my new favourite flat type shoes, they look so expensive and so different to anything else I’ve seen. I also happened to come across a scarf in the shop which was only 1.50! It’s the type of scarf that’s in fashion at the moment, or coming back into fashion. It’s one of those original scarfs with the tassels on the end and a soft feel, rather than those big knitted ones you get at Primark. With a Scottish like striped ( I thought it was tartan at first) pattern of a dark blue and green I couldn’t resist, it’s very boyish, but I love that style at the moment, and I always think scarves make and outfit! It just looks so good thrown on with some jeans a simple top and my brogues, and for 1.50 you can go wrong! Its and finally…my mulberry… hmmm :)
New Year Resolutions
Firstly, I would like to say a huge Happy New Year! and secondly, I’m not really a fan of making New Year resolutions, because like half the planet, I never carry any of them out, or at least I last about a fortnight, then its back on the usual bandwagon of knowing no one else has stuck by theirs and so, what’s the point? However this year I’m willing to try my hardest to stand by my guns and do my self-proud, at least for the first few months of the year. So here they are:
1.       Try my hardest at University. From starting university in September, I have been working my butt off for a solid 4 months, and come away with  a 1st and 2:1 in two modules from my first semester. I was very happy with this, but then of course coming home for Christmas meant my book would never see the light of day. However as soon as I get back to Leeds I will try to re visit my hardworking streak (which hardly ever occurs) throughout my 2012 university journey, and I will promise to make this year a great one for university studies and to make sure I keep up to date with all my modules.
2.       Eat healthier, or at least try too. The problem with me is, if I have to make a meal myself, I generally can’t be arsed. I’d rather spend my money on new clothes or nights out rather than expensive fruit and veg, and various pieces which create a healthy dish. Give me a packet of Doritos and dip and I’m happy. Being at university it’s hard to keep up a balanced diet. Because cooking isn’t something I’m known for, and buying food constantly is a pain, so ready meals are a must. But as its 2012 I will try and wriggle out of my bad habits and delve into the unknown that is the fruit and veg isle.
3.       Exercise (Pilates) so recently I’ve been noticing that I have become very unfit, to say the least. I ache most days even when doing nothing at all. I put this down to lack of stretching and exercise, and also lack of fresh air. I would like to make sure I run, Hit the gym, or even try Pilates a few times a week. I have achy joints and back, and I’ve hear Pilates basically cures this. So I will see if I can either sign up for a Pilate’s class, or choose the cheaper version and purchase a DVD, I have yet to decide.
4.       Make the most out of 2012. Is it just me, or did 2011 and every other year of our lives just literally fly by? I feel like as much as I enjoyed 2011 and it being such a great year, It’s been quick lived, I want to make sure I don’t take anything for granted in 2012 and just be appreciative of what I have, and the opportunity’s I have been offered. I want to be someone who is a pleasure to be around. I will try to let go of any negative thoughts and focus on the positives.

So, those are my New Year’s Resolutions, what are yours?
